Let Me Re-Introduce Myself

Well, hello everyone! My name is Evelyn Luciano Rodriguez Gonzalez Plaza. Say that real fast about 3 times. Lol. Kidding, but my real last name is Luciano. I thought I would reintroduce myself since it’s been awhile. Oh, super-quick-random fact: many people ask me if I have Italian blood, and the answer is yes!  I actually want to do a post on that sometime; culture is so interesting to me.

I moved to Texas in April of 2018, but I’m originally from Lancaster, PA (an hour outside of Philly; lived in Philly for 15 years of my life actually). I’ll share what brought me to Texas in a future post; it’s a total God-story!

I’m 38-years-old, single with no kids at this moment, and believing for an amazing husband to come my way in the near future. That’s been quite a journey you will for sure hear about (Lord, have mercy, Lol)! I love life, and I refuse to wait for that amazing hunk (yes, I said hunk) to come my way to have a good time living it. Life is too precious. I sure am excited to meet him though! 😉

I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was 21-years-old after going through the craziest few months of my life in college. I was emotionally and mentally wrecked and life was going downhill really fast. Since the day I accepted Jesus it’s been a wild ride, but I’m so thankful for every experience because it has all brought me closer to Him. God really has been good to me in the midst of it all and I have crazy amazing stories to prove it!

I love being a daughter of God first and foremost, and I also love God’s Word, writing, food and traveling. I like people MOST of the time, and I absolutely love nature. I’m a loyalist, I’m faithful, I’m gentle, but please don’t mess with my family or loved ones; I’m a protector at heart for sure. I have incredible friends and I look forward to growing in new friendships here in Texas.  Authenticity and vulnerability, along with family and health, are a few more of my passions. I love being around people that can make me laugh; a good laugh is good for the soul!

I’m super excited to be sharing more about my passions in the next weeks, and it is my prayer that my stories will encourage your soul and spirit. Take this journey with me, friends! I’m sure you will relate to many of the things I have walked through; we are not as different as we think.
