Decluttering my Soul, Spirit and Home

If you have been staying close to Jesus in this season, you will know that He has so much in store for us this year! It will not come with us sitting still and waiting for the blessings, but it will come as we pursue God in spirit and in truth. As we obey, move quickly and as we remove distractions from our lives that have kept us from making time for Him. The blessings will come as we take time to purify our hearts, minds and spirits. It will come as we declutter our lives, spiritually, mentally and practically. We need to make room folks! Room for God to move!

My dear friend Marlaina encouraged me to make room in my home, make space and boy oh boy did I take that word and move on it. I came home and in the next weeks I took time to declutter and make space in every room in my house. Its been awesome! I feel like I live in a new home. I knew this request was deeper than a physical action. Not only in my physical home but in my spiritual house. The house where I want Holy Spirit to dwell and be free to use me. Ahhh, I feel so refreshed in this.

I encourage you all to take time to ask the Lord to give you glimpses of what he wants from you and what he wants to give you. I encourage you to make space, take time and obey quickly. When God speaks, please listen quickly. Obedience is better than sacrifice! 1 Samuel 15:22. Oh and last but not least, stay Humble! Humility in this season is a key that will open doors of blessings. Pride will move you away from what He has for you!
